Creative evening
On April 4, the concert hall of the Alexander Spendiaryan House-Museum was filled with the spirit of Armenian song — particularly the essence of the Armenian romance. The occasion was a creative evening dedicated to pianist, composer, and professor at the Komitas State Conservatory, Margarit Sargsyan, and soloist of the Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Diana Harutyunyan.
The event, titled “25 Moments at the Crossroads of Time,” was hosted by Marine Otaryan, director of the Spendiaryan House-Museum, and offered the audience a heartfelt journey rich in warm memories, patriotism, and high art — highlighting key moments from the two musicians’ 25-year artistic collaboration.
The evening featured songs by Komitas, Nikol Galanteryan, Vladilen Balyan, and Margarit Sargsyan.
Audience members shared their reflections, memories, and words of gratitude — among them poet, translator, and cultural figure Babken Simonyan (Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Armenia), poet and art historian Hasmik Sargsyan, former director of the YSU Museum Heghine Gasparyan, as well as other guests and art lovers.
